چکیده
This study assessed the usefulness of replacement coarse aggregate partially with electronic waste (e-waste) plastic in lightweight concrete since developing countries have been challenged management e-waste as well high cost aggregates for production. Coarse were replaced at 5%, 10%, 15%, and 20% a class C20. The particle size distribution was determined slump, compressive strength, water absorption bulk density concrete. Generally, slump decreased increased. strengths 5% 10% but increased 15% e-waste. 0% obtained content while 0.01% obtaining 0.013% after 28days curing. densities compared to content. values strength showed that replacements by may be appropriate C20/25 ranged between 16.09 Nmm–2 22.87 Nmm–2. implies partial useful helping eradicating environment menace plastic.

Industrial activities in Iraq are associated with significant amounts of non-biodegradable solid waste, waste plastic being among the most prominent. This study involved 86 experiments and 254 tests to determine the efficiency of reusing waste plastic in the production of concrete. Thirty kilograms of waste plastic of fabriform shapes was used as a partial replacement for sand by 0%, 10%, 15%, ...

cement is an essential ingredient in the concrete buildings. for production of cement considerable amount of fossil fuel and electrical energy is consumed. on the other hand for generating one tone of portland cement, nearly one ton of carbon dioxide is released. it shows that 7 percent of the total released carbon dioxide in the world relates to the cement industry. considering ecological issu...
Rheological and Mechanical Properties of Light Weight Self-Compacting Concrete Containing Sirjan Iron Mine Waste
Recycling is a logical option for materials that are not suitable for composting. One of these materials is iron mines waste that, according to their compounds, can be used as a substitute part of cement in concrete. For this aim, rheological and mechanical properties and durability of light weight self-compacting concrete (LWSCC) containing Sirjan iron mine waste (SIMW) as partial substitute o...
